This past Sunday night, i finished watching all 4 parts of SAW back-to-back, non-stop. Something like a marathon, if you'd wanna call it! I had finally got my hands on the DvD Rip of SAW IV (that's because the hacks in the gray market still didn't get the US Retail DvD with Special Features et al).
And honestly, this was an amazing 7-hour journey which culminated with the most brilliant and well-thought out sequel of all the 3 sequels; albeit very confusing, but still, one that takes you for a shocking ride!
This movie was touted to be the most violent and gory among all sequels of SAW. But i felt the violence and gore was on par with SAW III, maybe a tad more than it, but not extreme.
If you've read the reviews by now, you'd have read that there're way too many plots in this movie, which makes it all the more confusing to follow. But you can be rest assured that all the plots are intertwined, answering many questions, and leaving several more unanswered.
With that being said, it's highly difficult to predict what's gonna happen in SAW V. That notwithstanding, the games will continue, and so will JigSAW's legacy! And i'm very eagerly waiting for the fifth installment of the SAW series!
By the way, i am not letting any part of the storyline out, even if it's a non-spoiler; simply because i believe you gotta experience the unpredictable and unbelievable ride like it's totally new and unknown to you!
Watch this as soon as you can, and watch it after watching parts - I, II and III. This will turn up your SAW Experience by 4 times. Trust me.
